Currently wondering
- How can we regain connection with the land in Europe (in a way that isn’t nationalistic)?
- How can I fit all of my hobbies into my sideboard?
- How long can I have the whole soundtrack of Jesus Christ Superstar stuck in my head?
- Should I buy an mp3 player and stop using streaming services?
- How can I stay informed about Palestine and authoritarian shifts in the west without using Instagram?
I haven’t doomscrolled since the end of August and it feels great. Instead, I’ve finished different crosswords, some sudokus, read more books, drew a bit (it’s difficult!) and went for walks.
I still feel like I’m wasting my time, but I have to remind myself that resting is resisting the attention economy. Also I feel smart every time I finish a puzzle.
Feels good to be human, sometimes.
