Everything is constantly changing. What remains constant, for now, is the simple act of living and experiencing life itself. In this always-different reality, what does it mean to be and what does it mean to have an identity? I is I for me, but the same could be said for you.
In an attempt to grasp the concepts of self and life, I’m working with the only one I have: mine. Every day I make a self portrait, to try and see who I am, at least in that moment, and to try and remember, now and in the future.
It evolved as the semi-improvised performance “On Being A Person”, and the first year is summarized in a video.
The project is stopped, or maybe on hold, as I was starting to doubt whether it had any meaning or it had just become an habit, a quirk to an identity.
